Father of Lions by Louise Callaghan

I have just put my review of Father of Lions by Louise Callaghan up on EmmabBooks.com I listened to the audio version.

The main interest in this book, for me, was what it was like for ordinary people living in Mosul when the city was ruled by the Islamic State. Also this is the story of Abu Laith who wanted to save the lions, and other animals, in the city zoo. A remarkable book about survival, and those who are willing to risk their lives to help others.

All the best, Emma

ps: Some of my web pages are looking a little odd at the moment, this is because I am in the middle of changing to the new WordPress system. Sorry!
