Out of the Silence

This is one of my all time favourite books (of all authors, not just Owen Mullen)

Set in Pakistan it tells the story of Afra, married to a man she does not know. The first half of the book tells the moving story of Afra, the second half is a fast moving action thriller. Just brilliant!

So It Began

Set in New Orleans this thriller has children’s pageants, an extortion scam and a serial killer that needs to be found. It all seemed rather true to life so had me enthralled. Loved it!

In Harm’s Way

This is the first book in the Mackenzie Darroch psychological thriller series, set in Glasgow, Scotland. Mackenzie disappears, but she’s prone to drama, so why should anyone worry.

Deadly Harm

The 2nd book in the Mackenzie Darrock series. A thriller where revenge and freedom become entwined. Both books in this series can be read as “stand alone”.

If you haven’t read any of Owen Mullen’s thrillers yet, I highly recommend them, and you are sure to find (at least) one of the above to your liking. Just perfect excapism for these times.
