Published in January of this year, by Bookouture, and set in Vermont, The Birthday Party tells the story of Kathy and Mitch who’s 5 year old daughter disappears from a birthday party. An ordinary family going through the hell of wondering where their daughter is. Only, as this is by Wendy Dranfield, you can be sure that Kathy and Mitch are not quite as they would like people to think.
