What (am I currently reading)?

I am currently reading the Regency Romance  A Lady’s Risk  by Felicity George.  This was published by Orion Dash in September of this year.      This is the first book in the Gentlemen of London series, with the 2nd book A Courtesan’s Worth, being published in 2023.

Why (have I chosen to read it)?

I wanted a change from my usual genres, and thought a historical romance would be perfect.   The week has been a bit stressful with kitten needing an unexpected operation, so disappearing into these pages has been just the thing.  Also just look at that cover!

While (I am reading it)

We are taking turns to sit with kitten – mainly to restrain him from being over-exuberant while he heals from his operation.  Actually it seems I’m the most stressed of everyone!  So I took myself out for a walk, and came across these beautiful deer.
