Gritty and compelling

Billy is in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Bradley is under a lot of stress.  Max is wondering where his friend has got to.

This compelling thriller has short chapters and plenty of fast moving action.  Max feels sure something has happened to Billy – she would not just go off without telling him.  Others judge Billy on her lifestyle and aren’t too bothered.   Well, I can tell you something has definitely happened to Billy, and she is hoping someone will notice and help her.  Max has problems from his past which are impeding his search, and for Bradley things are spiralling out of control.

This thriller was too gritty for me, but I couldn’t bring myself to put it down.  I just had to find out what was going to happen to Bradley, Max and Billy.   Lovers of dark and gritty thrillers I am sure will give this 5*s, for me I’m moving on to something gentle and feel-good to take my mind off the realities of the scenarios in Faceless.
