Entertaining, page turner

Jack Harper’s marriage is not going well and, motivated by a friend, he visits an online dating site -just to liven up a dull evening!   Unfortunately his first extra-marital date is dead by the time he arrives, which causes problems for Jack with the police  – and his wife.  From this moment on this psychological thriller turns into a real page turner.   

Although it is difficult to have any sympathy with Jack, I was fascinated to find out what happens.  Some of the action would havebeen almost farcical  if it hadn’t been so serious, but the story is gripping and great entertainment (after a rather slow start). 

4*s from me as this was a great book to escape into, with an excellent ending.
