Realistic, twisty psychological thriller

Jessica has recently returned to live in the UK, and is staying at her aunt and uncles house whilst they are away.  She is lucky enough to meet Ashley at the local co-working place, and they have fun exploring the area as Jess starts her new life back in England.     Then something happens and Jess’s great new start seems less perfect.  What happened to make Jess go abroad? Has someone from her past caught up with Jess?    

Chapter 1 ends with a shock, and sets the pace for this realistic, involving  thriller.  As the story unfolds, so Jess has suspicions about who is doing this to her, and I found myself engaged with her as a character, and  scared for her.  Throughout there are plenty of surprises and loads for the reader to wonder about. 

Set in Weston-super-Mare, at first I thought I had the storyline worked out before it hardly got going.  How wrong I was!  This fast paced psychological thriller twists and turns, with everything being seen through Jess’ eyes.  My suspicions rose and fell, and then a new twist would start me thinking something different.  An enjoyable, realistic, great read! 

This is the first book I have read by Nora Valters, I shall definitely be reading more by her.
