Couldn’t put it down
My rating: 5 out of 5
This psychological suspense novel follows Caroline through a few weeks of her life. It all starts normally one day with Caroline trying to avoid the gossip mongers at the school gates, following which she decides to google herself to check that there is nothing online that will make her the next target of the scandal lovers. The problem is that she finds out something shocking, and even more shocking is the fact that she can’t remember it. Is it all a horrible prank, or is her memory playing tricks with her?
This is a well written, fast paced book that had me glued right through to the end. Many chapters had cliff-hanger endings that kept me reading for longer than I had planned, and though I found Caroline’s manic temperament a little irritating for the first chapter or two, after that I was deeply into the book and there with her waiting to find out what has happened. Wow, what a read.
There is a great list of questions at the end for reading groups etc., though I can’t imagine anyone that has read this book would have any trouble discussing it non-stop for hours.
Brilliant!
I loved this book too! I put it in my best books of 2016 🙂
