I am so excited that Caroline Montague’s latest historical fiction novel is being released today.

Shadows over the Spanish Sun by Caroline Montague is set in Andalucia during the time of the Spanish Civil War. It is a story of a family, love and of how the civil war affected the ordinary people – throughout which the warmth and beauty of Andalucia shines.

This is the second novel I have read by Caroline Montague, and in this book I loved the strong sense of Andalucia, the involving story and the great overview of what the Spanish Civil War was about.
