Out today is this author’s long awaited second penguin novel Call of the Penguins by Hazel Prior.
Once again Veronica (now aged 87) is off on her travels to meet penguins, this time to Australia and the Falklands. Our other favourite characters are back too . It can also be read as “stand alone”.
As well as penguins there is relationship drama, communication disasters, mysteries to solve and plenty of interesting details that I found myself googling for more information on. For more of my review see EmmabBooks.com

I have had the first book on my TBR since it came out and I really need to read it. I love stories with older MCs as well as family, and intergenerational, so it is time to grab it and give it a read, before picking up this one.

I’d recommend starting with Book 1, Away with the Penguins, though it’s not essential. There’s a link to Bk 1 if you click on the picture in my post.
