Today is Publication Day for Cry for Help by Wendy Dranfield. This is the second book in her Detective Madison Harper series, but can also be read as a stand alone – though the first book in this series Shadow Falls was excellent, so you’d be mad to skip that one!

Madison (an ex Detective) is back in her home town, in Colorado,  for the first time since being released from jail for murder.  Her ex-girlfriend has just been killed, and there has also been a death at the fairground.  Can Madison find out who killed her ex-girlfriend, and where the son she hasn’t seen since she was arrested has gone?  

A great second book in this series.
