The Existence of Amy by Lana Grace River

This contemporary fiction, tells the moving story of Amy who has a great job, a lovely flat and is successful. However underneath she is struggling, and it is the small actions of others (often unbeknown to them) that help her to manage day by day. A wonderful read that shows how our small actions can make a positive difference to others, and how out of darkness can come positives.

Dishonoured by Jem Tugwell

This psychological thriller really drew me in as I tried to guess who would do such a thing to successful Dan. Disturbing in that I wondered if it was something that could happen to anyone. Totally involving with a great ending.
This is the third book I have read by this author, the first two being techno thrillers. What a great author he is!

Family by Owen Mullen

A gangland thriller from Owen Mullen where the reader is thrown into the activities of the London based Glass Family. Luke has just left prison and wants to go straight, however his older brother has different plans for him. A gritty thriller with plenty of action and tension. I understand that a second book in this series is coming out soon.
I have read all of Owen Mullen’s thrillers, and can recommend them all!

Shadow Falls

Lots of twists and turns in this mystery thriller. Character led, I was totally involved with Nate and Madison as they raced to find out what happened to the missing girl, whilst hiding plenty of secrets of their own.
A second book in this series is out later this month (February)
